Responsibilities

The role of the Senior Industry Consultant Automotive is to lead consulting regionally within Endava’s Automotive Industry Vertical. Reporting to an overall Global Industry Principal Consultant, the job holder will play a key role in elevating engagement to C-suite and helping achieve larger order books and deals through: • Providing an advisory service to our clients – supporting them in their strategic goals, and helping position Endava as their go-to partner for execution. • Giving opinions on the industries we serve and thought leadership. • Providing deep insight into the industries, opportunities and client delivery, through to informing how we brief the analyst community. • A key member of the bid process, helping to develop compelling and relevant proposals to our clients. • Long term delivery-side engagement with our clients, supporting their strategies and identifying broader account opportunities. At an operational level this will also involve: • Providing strategic advice to senior management on business operations and goals. • Developing strategies and executing Endava’s long-term growth plans for your industry. • Partnering with and supporting our sales team, providing industry specific knowledge. • Developing client relationships, giving client advice and defining coherent strategies for improving business performance. • Networking, influencing and positioning Endava within the market. • Conducting research and analysis to identify market opportunities for new products or services. • Developing marketing strategies that build brand awareness and increase sales. • Developing a team of industry experts who lead execution and working with the TAC, to support pre-sales and delivery.

Qualifications and Experience

• At least 10 years’ experience in a technology environment, both industry and consulting. • Strong sector expertise, aligned to Automotive vertical. Additional knowledge of more industry verticals e.g., retail, insurance, payments is a strong advantage. Strong client relationships across the industry. • A good degree, preferably in information systems, computing, engineering or business. • Exceptional client interaction skills, collaborative work style, strong interpersonal skills, ability to influence and position. • Experience in financial modelling, data analysis and report building. • A proven track record of significant achievements and success across your career. • Experience of leading and working effectively in global organisations with multi-disciplinary teams. • A capable strategist experienced in the development of business and technology strategies. • Ability to listen, understand what the client wants and translate that into actionable plans. • A thought leader with the ability to provide valuable insights to our clients. • Strong evidence of having built and maintained a strong professional network. • Drive, motivation, the ability to develop cogent arguments and present them concisely to a wide range of stakeholders. • Ability to foster innovation and a team-oriented work environment. • Committed to staying up to date, keeping skills relevant and maintaining a competitive advantage in the workplace.
