What information should I include in my CV?
We want to know about your experience, even if it is not, IT-related. If you are a student with no work experience, make sure to highlight your studies, courses, accomplishments, the projects you have worked on and skills you gained.

I have submitted my application. Now what?
You will receive a link to an online test. If you pass the test, you will be contacted by our recruitment team to discuss further steps. Bear in mind, due to the high number of applicants, it may take up to one month to be contacted.

What if I am from abroad? Would I need to relocate?
Because of legislative constraints, we are unable to offer remote internship opportunities for candidates living abroad. You can apply if you intend to relocate to Moldova indefinitely once the internship starts.

Can I apply for more than one opening at the same time?
We understand it can be tempting to apply for all openings in the hopes that this will lead to an interview. However, this is rarely a fruitful strategy. Use the time you would spend on applying for several entries to craft a strong and compelling application for one position instead.

■ Can I apply if I have never worked in IT?
Yes, by all means. If you have the minimum requirements listed in the job description, we encourage you to apply regardless of your previous work experience.

Can I apply if I am in college/high school?
We encourage you to apply if you are a fresh college graduate, a student in the last year of University or enrolled in a Master Program.

Where can I find the study materials?
You can review the study materials HERE.

■ What is the required English level?
Please consult the Job Description as the English level differs for each position. Generally, for most internship roles, A2 (Elementary) level is the minimum requirement. We need you to understand the information provided to you in English, have a conversation using elementary vocabulary and be able to participate in any basic written conversation.

Does my age/sex/religion influence my candidacy in any way?
We are committed to a policy of equal employment, and we’ll not discriminate against an applicant based on age, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, race, colour, creed, religion, national origin or ancestry, citizenship, marital status, familial status, people with physical or mental disabilities, pregnancy, or any other category protected under the laws we operate under. We are an equal opportunity employer and are committed to a diverse workforce.

■ How can I prepare for the interview?
The golden rule for a well-prepared candidate is to read and revise the Study Materials, review the job description and do a bit of research on our company. Before the interview, please make sure your computer, camera, microphone, and internet connection are set up correctly.

■ What is the format of the interview?
The interview might take place online via Microsoft Teams or offline at our office, depending on the availabilities of the interviewers. You will typically meet with two technical interviewers.

■ How much time will the interview take?
On average, the online interview lasts up to one hour.

■ How will you test my knowledge? Will I be given any coding exercise?
Be prepared to demonstrate your knowledge by answering theoretical and practical questions, by writing code and/or provide examples of your work.

■ How soon will I know if I am accepted?
Your recruiter can help you understand the specific timeline for the opening you have applied for. You should hear back from them with a status update within two weeks of your interview. However, timelines may differ depending on the position.

■ Is theoretical knowledge enough to pass the interviews?
Candidates with both theoretical and practical knowledge have a better chance of being accepted to the internship.

■ When does the internship start?
The estimated Start Date of the Internship Program is published on the Landing Page of the Internship.

■ Does the internship offer a flexible schedule? Can I keep my current job?
On average, you will be investing 6 hours per day, 5 days a week for 3 months. It is unlikely you will be able to keep up with both your internship tasks and your job. Our recommendation is to allow yourself the time and space to focus solely on the internship to perform well and show substantial progress.

■ Is the internship online?
The internship will be entirely offline. We would like you to have the chance to taste the internal culture and benefit from an active networking environment.

■ How long does the internship last?
The internship lasts three months, Monday to Friday, starting morning hours. On average, you will be investing 6 hours daily.

■ Is the Endava internship paid?
While the Endava internship is not financially remunerated, you will receive a real, palpable chance to expand your knowledge, meet and shadow senior and experienced colleagues, expand your network and start/switch your career.

■ What are the daily activities of an intern?
Interns actively participate and interact with mentors, trainers and fellow interns during daily stand-ups, and work on tasks that should be delivered as part of their learning path. Complimentary to the ongoing training sessions, interns are separated into SCRUM teams that will deliver a small task following the Agile methodology. In the process, they learn how to be a team player, apply the theoretical knowledge they have gained and familiarize themselves with the processes. They also get to improve their communication and presentation skills.

■ Will I have a mentor?
Yes, every intern is assigned a mentor, who will guide them in their professional development during the internship. Additionally, each stream of interns will be supervised by the Internship Coordinator.

■ What type of projects are the interns assigned to?
Based on demand, interns will shadow experts on either commercial or interesting internal projects.

■ How many interns are hired after the internship?
Employment is strictly dependent on the available project opportunities at the moment of graduation. Your performance during the internship, proactiveness, as well as your interaction with mentors, fellow interns and Endava staff will also influence your eligibility for employment.
