Street Aware
Iasi, Romania |
We believe that even the smallest actions can have a huge impact and we are committed to supporting sustainable projects for local communities. Street Aware, an initiative powered by the Save the Children Association, is one such project.
Street Aware is an educational instrument designed for children who either do not attend school or are at risk of dropping out, the programme provides educational services in a mobile setting. The programme involves adapting the educational process to the reality of children in deprived communities and creating a way to increase the efficiency of social intervention.
Our colleagues taught, played and created educational games and we are glad to support this amazing initiative, ensuring more than 30 children from poorer communities can have access to education. They participated in designing and delivering educational materials for disadvantaged children, on: children’s rights, literature, mathematics, vocabulary, health education, creative therapy, HIV/SIDA prevention, drugs abuse prevention, human traffic prevention.
“It was a unique feeling to see that we can really change the world. I hope Endava will be a solid partner in this kind of events.” Claudia, Senior Recruiter.
