Delivery Manager

Responsibilities

As a Delivery Manager, you are accountable to the business for running your client accounts, as if they were your own business, within our business. You are the link between our clients and our international delivery teams (nearshore locations) to ensure the successful provision of our software services. As part of our team you will:

• Support and initiate presales activities involved in acquiring new clients.
• Developing proposals together with the salespeople and delivery people. Taking responsibility for the technical and commercial output and quality of the proposal.
• Take full responsibility for one or more client relationships, including account & stakeholder management
• Successful delivery of complex IT projects for your accounts
• Ensure that realistic project, quality, change control, and risk management processes are maintained, including revenue and cost forecasting
• Manage remotely a team of resources, revenue, and against budgets
• Ensure clients gain a high level of confidence in our service capabilities and contribute to the growth of assigned accounts.

 

Qualifications and Experience

We are looking for an ambitious and eager professional with the following qualifications:

• 3-10 years of experience in commercial savvy IT (consulting) roles in the Netherlands
• Have a particular interest in the pre-sales aspects of the role
• Self-starter, willing to work in a virtual team (4 days remote, 1 day in our Office in Utrecht WTC).
• Be a team player in a small but senior Dutch team
• Ability to build and maintain trusted client relationships within client organizations.
• Experience in leading IT projects within the software development and/or application management environment
• Broad understanding of all aspects of information systems and IT development
• Proactively maintain awareness of developments in the financial / IT industry
• Good knowledge of project management
• Excellent communicator in English & Dutch
• Open for international travel (post corona), max 3 days per month
• Master’s degree in business, economics, IT, or technical studies (TU).
