Target Operating Model Architect (GCP)

Responsibilities

  • Assist clients with their understanding of cloud platforms increasing overall cloud readiness supporting our clients through workshops, mentoring, coaching and advisory sessions
  • Develop deep relationships with key decision-makers driving long-term cloud adoption and ensure successful project delivery on cloud engagements
  • Thought leadership on large transformation programmes, contributing to the cloud strategy definition, team interactions and value measurement
  • Creation & review of implementation roadmap addressing timeline and high-level milestones for target operating model
  • Define process, tools, and roles for multi-cloud management with particular focus on automation and DevOps best practices
  • Define cloud governance models including group charters, interaction models, KPIs, value stream realization and compliance reporting
  • Assess Cloud readiness reviewing maturity of the current process, organizational roles, skill-sets, governance model and supporting technology to develop maturity assessment, recommended actions and a roadmap.

 

Qualifications and Experience

 

  • Previous history of hands-on delivery of GCP projects
  • Technically skilled with a customer focused mind and excellent presentation skills
  • Experience working in a service provider environment
  • Proven track record in a pre-sales environment within an IT solutions\services business.
  •  Excellent soft skills particularly in client expectation management.
  • Highly articulate and literate, with excellent levels of written and spoken English.
  • Ability to write bid responses and generate costs.
  • Strong knowledge of cloud platforms 
  • Willingness to travel within a wide geographical area for client meetings
  • Experience of creating cloud cost models and running cloud readiness assessments
  • Experience of working and implementing hybrid cloud solutions
  • High level cloud certification
