WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR:
We are looking for a proven Delivery Manager to be the single point of day-to-day contact for our clients. The candidate we are looking to hire should have in-depth experience working with mainland European Insurance clients and projects or have worked within the Insurance industry. It’s required to have understanding of the concepts of information and communications technology, as well as comprehensive knowledge of relevant development life-cycles.
The Delivery Manager (DM) must be skilled in content shaping for proposals and bids (in line with the Endava Business Winning Process), maintaining good client relationships, strategic account plans (partnering with sales), and aligning expectations of the solutions we deliver. The Delivery Manager (DM) must be able to motivate and lead their teams, ensure long-term health of their client accounts, and be accountable for the overall success and profitability of the accounts.

• Take full responsibility for one or more client relationships, including definition, managing the margin on each project, invoice process and the target profitability documentation, and expectations management.
• Establish strategic relationships with stakeholders internally and externally and manage assigned accounts successfully.
• Successfully communicate issues, manage client expectations, and being accountable for building trusted relationships with delivered satisfaction.
• Ensure that realistic project, quality, change control, and risk management processes are maintained, including revenue and cost forecasting.
• Appoint, monitor, and control resources, revenue, and capital costs against project budgets and manage internal and external stakeholders' expectations.
• Ensure clients gain a high level of confidence in our service capabilities and contribute to the growth of assigned accounts in the Insurance area.
• Support the presales activities involved in acquiring new clients being involved in developing the proposal, including identifying delivery units, putting together the bid team, and taking responsibility for the technical and commercial output and quality of the proposal.
Mandatory Skills:
• At least 10 years of professional experience in a comparable position, interacting with clients in the Insurance industry.
• Ability to build and maintain trusting client relationships up to executive level within large client organizations.
• Ability to grasp complex technical and creative concepts and effectively communicate them at all levels to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Proficient in methods and techniques for structured reviews, technical diagrams, test plans, business cases, and all key deliverables.
• Strong project management methods, techniques, and tools for effective management from initiation to implementation.
• Contract negotiation and contract management methods/techniques.
• Comprehensive understanding of an IT organization and deep understanding of specialty area(s).
• Acts as a leader to help others develop, improve team performance and create an environment where members feel part of the team.
• Excellent communication skills in German and English, at least C1 level.
Desired Skills:
• Experience in managing large-scale software development projects, preferably in the insurance industry.
• Good knowledge of agile software development.
• Experience in leading employees.
• Strong understanding of business administration.
• Independent management of business development and experience in the handling of pre-sales.
