Delivery Manager - Retail

Project Delivery Management


We are looking for an experienced Delivery Manager to help grow our U.S. business and help our clients succeed. The Endava Delivery Manager will oversee one or more client accounts focused within our Retail and CPG Industry Vertical and will serve as the Clients’ primary point of contact and trusted advisor. The Delivery Manager will coordinate proposal development and contract flow, ensure project delivery, and manage accounts' overall commercial health (P&L). 
The successful Delivery Manager is a true team player who will interact with nearly all Endava departments and business units and the client; strong emotional intelligence and the ability to develop rapport and foster trust are absolutely essential.  
The Delivery Manager’s business acumen and industry knowledge will help gain a strong understanding of the clients’ business challenges and proactively identify opportunities to help solve them.  
Candidates should have a strong understanding of Agile software engineering practices and benefits and a deep experience delivering multiple concurrent and complex software projects or products. Candidates should be comfortable leading multiple distributed teams in a matrixed environment and be familiar with onshore/offshore/nearshore delivery models and associated trade-offs. 
The candidate for this role should have considerable experience in one or more of the following domains:  * E-Commerce  

  • Customer Experience and Product 
  • Retail Industry Trends and Strategy 

This role has the opportunity for quick growth & promotion. There is an opportunity to focus on the broader scope of the department and manage a team of Delivery Managers and/or Delivery Partners.??? 


Qualifications and Experience


  • Partner with the sales team, delivery units, and business unit head to shape winning proposals for new and existing clients.  
  • Coordinate responses to “requests for information” and “requests for proposal”. - Serve as the common thread from proposal to implementation and manage the transition from bid to project. - Coordinate and usher contracts through relevant business processes. 
  • Meet with project teams and clients. Oversee and ensure successful delivery of Levvel (An Endava Company) commitments.  
  • Manage, communicate, and address project/account issues and risks - Assess and deploy staffing changes as appropriate. 
  • Find the balance between client, Team, and Levvel (An Endava Company) needs and consistently deliver win-win solutions. 
  • Partner with Sales to develop and execute account plans.  
  • Recommend investments and opportunities for account growth and leverage capabilities and the full scale of the Levvel (An Endava Company) team to help the client succeed. 
  • Accurately forecast revenue and expenses for the account(s) and ensure the financial health of the account. 


Additional Information


  • 6-8 years of experience delivering software projects and/or products. 
  • Software or product delivery in non-client facing roles is a plus. 
  • Business relationship management experience is a plus. 
  • Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited university or commensurate experience. 
  • Service-oriented and able to deliver with high customer satisfaction. 
  • Strong emotional intelligence and relationship building. 
  • Team player – Hungry, Humble, Smart, Strong verbal and written communication. Possess a strategic perspective to focus on the big picture and objectives. 
  • Leadership skills to motivate distributed and matrixed teams. 
  • Strong project management methods, techniques, and tools for effective management from initiation to implementation. 
  • Proficient in software delivery methods and use of tools and key deliverables such as structured reviews, technical diagrams, user stories, test plans, and business cases. 
  • Contract negotiation and contract management methods/techniques.
