Delivery Manager for Financial Services

Project Delivery Management



We are looking for an experienced Delivery Manager/Partner to help grow our US Banking and Financial Services business and help our clients succeed. In this role, you will oversee one or more client accounts and will serve as the Clients’ primary point of contact and trusted advisor. You will coordinate proposal development and contract flow, ensure project delivery, and manage the overall commercial health (P&L) of accounts. 

Our Delivery Partners are team players that interact with all departments and business units as well as our clients; strong emotional intelligence and the ability to develop rapport and foster trust are essential.  You will work especially closely with sales teams on both new sales efforts and account growth efforts, as well as distinct delivery teams who are responsible for the day-to-day delivery of client engagements. 

Your business acumen and industry knowledge will help to gain a strong understanding of the clients’ business challenges and proactively identify opportunities to help solve them.  You will be expected to have working knowledge in Financial Services and be able to work with a broad variety of banks, credit unions, payments intermediaries and others in the financial services space. 

In addition to industry knowledge and expertise, you must be comfortable guiding multiple distributed teams in a matrixed environment and be familiar with onshore/offshore/nearshore delivery models and associated trade-offs. This role serves as the owner of a set of accounts, serving as a critical role and juncture point between sales and delivery teams to drive overall success at both a project and client level. 

This role has the opportunity for quick growth & promotion. There is an opportunity to focus on the broader scope of the department and manage a team of Delivery Managers and/or Delivery Partners.   


Qualifications and Experience

Daily duties: 

  • Partner with the sales team, delivery units (DUs), and business unit heads to facilitate prospective conversations and shape winning proposals for new and existing clients. 
  • Coordinate responses to “requests for information” and “requests for proposal” efforts. 
  • Serve as the common thread from proposal to implementation and manage the transition from bid to project.
  • Coordinate and usher contracts through relevant business processes.
  • Meet with project teams and clients. Oversee and ensure successful delivery of Endava commitments both through direct and indirect leadership and oversight.
  • Work with DU teams to manage, communicate, and address project/account issues and risks.
  • Assess and deploy staffing changes as appropriate. 
  • Find the balance between client, Team, and Endava needs and consistently deliver win-win solutions. 
  • Partner with Sales to develop and execute account plans.
  • Recommend investments and opportunities for account growth and leverage capabilities and the full scale of the Endava team to help the client succeed.
  • Accurately forecast revenue and expenses for the account(s) and ensure the financial health of the account. 



  • 8 years of experience in at least one core area of BFSI space (e.g., capital markets, wealth management, investment banking, etc.) and 5 years of experience delivering software projects and/or products. 
  • Software or product delivery in non-client facing roles is a plus. 
  • Prior experience within presales. 
  • Business relationship management experience across a broad variety of stakeholder types (e.g., project managers up to senior executive sponsors). 
  • Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited university or commensurate experience. 
  • Service-oriented and able to deliver with high customer satisfaction

  • Strong verbal and written communication 
  • Able to drive success through indirect leadership, guiding and influencing others who are directly responsible for the day-to-day success of a client effort
  • Contract negotiation and contract management methods/techniques
  • Comfortable with financial forecasting for a set of accounts/relationships
