Sr. Agile Project Manager

Project Delivery Management
 
 

Responsibilities

  • Managing multiple IT projects with distributed teams from multiple Delivery Centres and components from the fields of Software Development, Software Testing, and Application Support
  • Having a crucial role in project initiation and planning, managing the projects' delivery on time, on budget, according to customer's specifications and desired level of quality
  • Working closely with client’s stakeholder and project team members
  • Coordinating and synchronizing various working streams, both internal and external, in order to maximize the value for the client
  • Encourage best practices of high quality, predictability, and consistent velocity
  • Encourage best practices in all phases of SDLC
  • Emphasis on challenge and support of the team members
  • Offer guidance for an effective Agile implementation
  • Assisting with internal and external communication, improving transparency, and ensuring information distribution to the right recipients
  • Having role of scrum master
  • Being servant leader for one or multiply scrum teams
  • Facilitating process of continuous improvement inside the project team(s)
  • Assist the Product Owner to manage the backlog while focusing on priorities and scope
  • Managing internal and external stakeholders
  • Managing project administration (contracts, project finance, reporting)
  • Prepare periodic reports, progress, status or other special reports for management

 

Qualifications and Experience

  • Experience in Banking or Capital Market sectors.
  • 7+ years of experience as Agile Project Manager or Scrum Master
  • Excellent understanding of Agile delivery principles and frameworks
  • Good understanding of commercials / financials / contractual aspects of an engagement, both external – client facing and internal
  • Good communicator, very good English skills, good presentation skills, experience working with senior stakeholders
  • Organized, positive and proactive, able to get things done
  • People manager/people skills, coaching & mentoring
  • Excellent communication, problem solving and stakeholder management skills
  • Proven ability to constantly improve processes and working environment
