Endpoint Engineer



  • Managing a multi-platform endpoint environment (Desktop\Server)
  • Day to day responsibility for the technologies that support the endpoint estate
  • Working alongside Endava’s clients, delivering high level support and guidance for their short- and long-term requirements
  • Acting as a point of technical escalation and expertise for other levels of support - 3rd line
  • Discussing problem resolution with client and internal managers
  • Customers/stakeholders focused
  • Act as a technical governance layer for Workstations support team
  • Work within established configuration and change management policies to plan agree and deliver changes
  • Always investigating potential threats and upcoming technical obstacles that could jeopardize the deliver of our services
  • Analyzing and making changes to infrastructure to improve performance
  • Maintaining and improving support information and documentation
  • Ensuring estate license obligations are fully met
  • Mentoring junior technical staff
  • Lead involvement in installation projects


Qualifications and Experience

  • Extended experience with various Endpoint Systems Management tools including Intune / SCCM / SMP / Autopilot
  • Extended experience with various Anti-Virus and Security solutions including Sophos / McAfee / Tenable / Rapid 7 
  • Be highly proficient in Windows/Apple Mac O/S at both desktop and server
  • Administrating Microsoft AD & GPO
  • Browser management including Chrome/Firefox/Edge/IE
  • Patch management and delivery in a multi-platform environment
  • O365 Experience
  • Automation experience ideally PowerShell
  • Excellent standard of English language both verbal and written
  • Well-developed communication skills
  • Understand of GDPR and various compliance standards

  • VMWare
  • Experience of SQL
  • Microsoft Exchange
  • Working knowledge of ITIL (certification is a plus)
