Responsibilities

We are currently looking for a self-motivated and fast learning Senior DevOps with strong AWS/Azure knowledge for various projects within Endava, who:

  • Consults with project and product teams in best use of Cloud services;
  • Builds and manage cloud services and related software – specifically Azure, AWS, Yandex, GitLab, Terraform;
  • Builds out new cloud infrastructure (largely managed k8s and related services);
  • Maintains cloud infrastructure by following SRE principles;
  • Builds and deploys system improvement ideas;
  • Responsible for the Continuous integration and Continuous Delivery process;
  • Documents existing processes;
  • Implements and shares DevOps culture across delivery teams and company;
  • Acts as a specialist on the latest trends in the cloud technology landscape and shares this knowledge with the team members;
  • Works with developers to streamline application delivery processes;
  • Applies good interpersonal skills with team and client interaction;

 

Qualifications and Experience

  • Solid, hands-on experience building and managing AWS/Azure infrastructure;
  • Experience with infrastructure-as-code through tools;
  • Solid skills in coding/scripting (Python, Bash);
  • Experience in the development and optimization of Continuous Integration & Continuous Delivery;
  • Familiar with Configuration Management tools like Chef, Puppet, Ansible;
  • Knowledge of Software versioning tools: Git/Gitlab/BitBucket;
  • Good knowledge of container technology (Docker, Kubernetes);
