At Endava we’re currently looking to build out our Cloud engineering team working with Java, developing microservices and container-based applications for our clients – large & global enterprises.
In this role you will be developing functional back-end micro-services using the specific framework & CQRS patterns and integrate with individual micro-services to provide work-management solutions. Backend Developers use technologies such as Java8, JEE, JMS & JPA to help build micro-services and take them from inception all the way to production. You will be working in agile fashion with daily scrums with other developers to ensure good design and development practices are followed. You will be given chance to learn from others as well as answer questions from, mentor, and coach less experienced developers as required. You’ll be responsible for creating and maintaining enterprise-focused development artefacts and supporting frequent code delivery. You will be working with development environments revolving around Google Cloud with heavy focus on Kubernetes – often breaking down monolithic applications to microservices and migrating them to Kubernetes running on Google Cloud itself.
You won’t have all the skills above? No one does. But we will help you fill in the gaps through training, mentoring and working on great projects in small and large teams.
You will be working with some of the brightest people in business and technology on challenging and rewarding projects with a team of like-minded individuals. You will be working closely with Google engineering and pre-sales teams with well known clients. Endava prides itself on its international environment that promotes the professional and cultural exchange of ideas and encourages further individual development.
