Senior Automation Tester

Testing
 
 

Responsibilities

 * Analyze the requirements and cover them with test cases

  • Support planning and do the estimation of the testing work
  • Support building the appropriate automation framework for the project
  • Automate the relevant test cases – UI and API
  • Perform or support the non-functional testing (performance and security)
  • Support the implementation of the automated test sets as part of the continuous integration and delivery process
  • Ensure the highest quality and confidence leading up to product release
  • Prepare test reports on sprint/release basis

 

Qualifications and Experience

 * 4+ years of experience in testing, at least 2 of which in automation testing

  • Good understanding of software development lifecycle phases and QA processes within it
  • Experience with Java, .Net, JavaScript or any other programming language
  • Knowledge of test automation tools (such as JUnit, NUnit, TestNG, Selenium, SoapUI, etc.)
  • Good understanding of web services testing practices
  • Experience with UI and API automation testing
  • Experience with version control tools (GIT/TFS/SVN)
  • Experience with different bug tracking systems like JIRA, HP ALM, Azure DevOps and others
  • Work experience with Jenkins, Azure DevOps or similar CI tool
  • Understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies
  • Good communication skills
  • Analytical skills
  • Fluent English – written and spoken
