Responsibilities

With more than 15 years of games development experience, Endava has created more than 150 playful solutions for internationally acclaimed brands such as CATAN, Wooga, Playmobil, Europa-Park, and many more for all relevant platforms (iOS, Android, Steam, WebGL, Nintendo Switch, etc.).

As a Senior Unity Developer, you’re developing exciting games and game-related products with us.

We’re looking for an allrounder with excellent Unity knowledge and experience in agile software development.

If you love variety and the challenges that come with it just like we do, and if you can quickly get to grips with source codes, are also pragmatic, goal-oriented and a good team player on top of that - then we would very much like to get to know you!

Your tasks:

  • Development and Maintenance of Video Games and Interactive 3D Applications
  • Research the newest features of the Unity game engine
  • Sharing your knowledge and interest in becoming part of the growing Endava Unity family

 

Qualifications and Experience

What you bring to the table:

  • University degree or training in the field of Computer Science, Computer Engineering or comparable qualification
  • At least 3 years of experience in software development with Unity
  • Extensive knowledge of Unity tools and plugins/packages
  • Excellent knowledge of C# and Unity related design patterns
  • Base knowledge of development for multiple platforms (Android, iOS & WebGL).
  • Ability to write readable and maintainable code
  • Extensive knowledge of using Git
  • Extensive debugging knowledge
  • At least one released project or a portfolio of personal projects based on the Unity engine
  • Fluent in English

What makes you even more interesting:

  • Knowledge in console development (PlayStation Xbox, Nintendo Switch)
  • Knowledge of Unreal Engine 4
  • Experience in releasing on different stores like Google Play, AppStore, Steam, Amazon Stores
  • Experienced in usage of 3D math, matrices, vectors, quaternions
  • Performance optimization (ECS, Culling, Batching, Addressable asset system)
  • Proven development in JavaScript, C++, Objective-C / Swift, or Java
  • Basic knowledge of the agile work process (Scrum)
