DevOps Support Engineer

Responsibilities

  • Your main responsibility will be around analyzing system behavior and performance management for large production environments
  • Making sure customer Cloud Platform remains optimal from operational efficiency viewpoint through scripts, templates, blueprints, workflows, CI/CD orchestration tools, and other automation technologies.
  • Working closely with the Infrastructure Architects and Development teams in the design, engineering, and planning of the hosted Cloud infrastructure
  • Participate in the technical on-boarding process for new clients
  • Act as a technical escalation point and provide technical guidance and advice for the other members of the operational team
  • Implement monitoring and security baselines for existing cloud environments.
  • Troubleshooting customer environments and applications

 

Qualifications and Experience

  • Good communication skills, both verbal and written
  • 5+ years of working in the IT Domain
  • 3+ years of experience working with public cloud platforms
  • Extensive knowledge of Containerization and Orchestration Technologies
  • In-depth knowledge of one of the following cloud platforms: AWS, MS Azure or GCP
  • Production experience with AWS, Azure & GCP, Kubernetes, and working with CI/CD pipelines
  • Production experience in designing automation pipelines with Gitlab
  • Experience with developing automated cloud infrastructures (Ex: GCP Cloud Deployment Manger, ARM, AWS CloudFormation, Terraform, Ansible etc.)
  • Linux systems administration, configuration, troubleshooting and automation
  • Functioning knowledge of SQL (Ex: MySQL, Aurora) and NoSQL database systems (Ex: Redis, Mongo)
  • Solid understanding of the change management process
