R&D Software Engineer

Responsibilities

We are looking for colleagues interested in R&D and AI in the context of an opportunity in the field of Natural Language Processing (NLP).

The focus area will be to develop a framework that will enhance the current way of how business processes are automated and improve how automation testing is done in payments industry by using AI.

 

Main responsibilities:

  • Take architecture decisions and define design principles;
  • Continually analyze the architecture and current technology environment and recommend solutions for improvement;
  • Analyze technology and industry trends and keep current with the latest trends;
  • Some of the technologies that you will use in order to build “intelligent” agents that automate a process - NLP, chat bots, image recognition;
  • Stay up to date with the latest relevant developments in the field, prototype with and learn new technologies;
  • Facilitate technical discussions, problem-solving stand-up sessions, and technical literature reviews;
  • Collaborate with members of imaging team on possible multi-modal NLP solutions;
  • Conceptualize, architect, build and implement deep learning NLP solutions for deployment on edge devices;
  • Proficient communication in written and spoken English.

 

 

 

Qualifications and Experience

  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in designing software architecture, or demonstrated performance is required;
  • Experience with Python as the main language is a plus;
  • Knowledge of programming languages such as .Net, Frontend, Java, C++ , full-stack skills regardless of technology or more programming languages;
  • Experience with AI type of frameworks is an advantage;
  • Ability to simplify & standardize complex concepts / processes.
