Senior .NET Developer

Responsibilities

We are looking for Senior  .NET Developers for one of our projects in the fintech area - a portfolio management platform for an investment solution. Your main responsibilities would be to:

  • Take an active role in peer code reviews, balancing technical debt with delivery goals to help maintain code quality
  • Identify opportunities for new processes / frameworks / architectures
  • Support the wider team by jointly designing new application features and smaller enhancements
  • Communicate your ideas to the wider team, aiding understanding, and clarity
  • Have the chance to liaise with technical stakeholders, help to both take requirements and present summaries
  • Be given the opportunity to continue your self-development – via dedicated learning days & attending conferences/meetups, as well as learning from Senior Developers and Team Leads

 

Qualifications and Experience

  • Working experience in .NET web applications development using C# and .NET Core / 5 
  • Strong knowledge of asynchronous programming, building components in a service-based architecture, building out large projects using C# as the main language, Git, source control management and CI CD, different types of testing – unit/regression, SQL Server
  • Experience writing websites using the React framework
  • Experience with building a range of difference types of API services 
  • Experience with queue-based technologies and building out services utilizing them - (e.g. Rabbit/Azure Service Bus etc.)
  • Willingness to learn and apply new technologies
  • Ability to take full ownership of a feature, from design to deployment to production
  • Very good written and spoken English communication skills
