Agile Business Analyst



  • Work closely with both the internal teams and with Customer to understand, identify and analyse core business, processes, workflows and new requirements to meet the business needs within the technical constraints
  • Participate in direct workshops or on the call Skype meetings with Customer to identify, validate business requirements and for elicitation activities
  • Write User Stories with Acceptance Criteria for the requirements in such manner and with enough details so that they can be ready for development and testing teams
  • Act as a liaison between the Customer, the development and testing teams and providing assistance throughout the development life cycle
  • Work in Agile methodology environment / SCRUM approach: prepare and maintain the product backlog, prepare the user stories for the Sprints, participate in every regular SCRUM meetings


Qualifications and Experience

  • Agile mindset for the product delivery approach
  • Stakeholder management experience
  • Ability to be meticulous on complex requirements and documenting them while having an eye on dependencies on the overall system
  • Data driven approach together with strong analytical and problem solving skills
  • Familiar with ALM tools; JIRA and Confluence experience is an advantage
  • Can conduct workshops / brainstorming sessions to collate requirements
  • Experience working with distributed teams and clients 
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Insurance domain knowledge
  • 6+ years active experience in IT
  • 4+ years active experience as BA in structured teams
  • Very good English language skills
