Responsibilities

Our client is one of the big players in the web hosting and Cloud space, with proven history and great customer reviews. As an European based hyperscaler, with more than 10 years of IaaS experience, our client is looking forward to improving its PaaS portfolio. 

Responsibilities:

  • Programming (mostly) in Golang (Kubernetes Operators, REST APIs, libraries, and other tools);
  • Designing solutions and providing new features for our customers;
  • Developing, improving, and maintaining the complete toolchain (e.g. Helm Charts, Github Actions, GitOps);
  • Solid application instrumenting skills (e.g. Logging, Tracing, Profiling, Monitoring);
  • Defining the service structure in Cloud Environment (Kubernetes);
  • Rethinking the service architecture and implementing components in Golang.

 

Qualifications and Experience

  • Experience in developing, testing, reviewing, and deploying well-engineered code, preferably in Golang;
  • Practical experience with cloud technologies such as Kubernetes or AWS;
  • Experience with Kubernetes container orchestration, Kubernetes operators, controllers, CRDs, and helm charts;
  • Experience operating and troubleshooting production environments, including monitoring, alerting & log analysis;
  • Experience with the Linux operating system;
  • Very good written and spoken English communication skills.
