Responsibilities

Job responsibilities:

  • Work closely with Product Management to understand, articulate, and communicate the vision of the product
  • Perform market and customer research, as well as maintain awareness upon the competitors’ propositions
  • Define, manage and prioritize the team backlog, in collaboration with the Scrum Team/s
  • Ensure that requirements are clear and understood by Scrum Team/s
  • Collaborate with multiple stakeholders, beyond the Scrum Team/s, like: other POs, Product Managers, Product Directors, SMEs, Business Owners, Execs, Architects, 3rd party representatives
  • Validate product iterations based on definition of done for the stories
  • Act as an owner of the UAT of new features and products before they are deployed into the market
  • Provide support for live incidents including analysis, investigation and prioritisation, together with the Scrum Team/s
  • Active participation and/or leadership in Agile ceremonies including sprint refinement, sprint planning, sprint demos, cross-teams syncs, retrospectives, daily stand-ups
  • Facilitate effective communication between various organizational units, either internal or external
  • Work inside and across value streams, to define and implement improvement actions

 

Qualifications and Experience

Must have:

  • Solid prioritization and decision making skills
  • Leadership skills
  • Experience working in an Agile environment
  • Very good communication and presentation skills, in both English and Romanian
  • Experience working cross-functionally, internally and externally and the ability to influence without direct line management
  • Strategic/ innovative thinking with a vision
  • Very good evaluation skills of business needs vs product features, project constraints, time to market etc
  • Debate and negotiation skills
  • Demonstrate adaptability for working in unknown contexts: business domain, project life cycle, client-specific ways of working
  • Analytical and structured mind; have applied various analysis techniques (example: interviews, workshops, prioritization, acceptance and evaluation criteria) to obtain valuable outputs
  • Demonstrate self-growth mindset
  • Availability for occasional travel to customers’ site
  • Good understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle
  • 3-5 years’ experience in IT
  • 3-5 years’ experience in either of the following roles: Product Owner, Proxy Product Owner, Business Analyst, Product Manager.

Nice to have:

  • Knowledge of analytics tools
  • Experience in data analysis/ modelling
  • Have specific PO certification/s, for example: PSPO I, PSPO II, Certified SAFe PO/PM
  • Be aware or have used: requirements management tools, structured visual modelling tools, prototyping tools
