Responsibilities

Contributes and assists the HR function to provide an employee-oriented, high-performance culture; and emphasizes and encourages empowerment, quality, productivity standards, achievements, and continual development of a superior workforce.

Assists with the administration of the day-to-day operations of the Human Resources functions and duties. Carries out responsibilities in some or all of the following functional areas: employee relations, benefits, compensation, personnel administration, and general employment-related matters.

• Establish an HR / people function in a new location, ensuring the correct processes and procedures are in place to support the growth in employee numbers, as Endava builds a presence and Delivery Unit in Australia.
• Answers non-routine inquiries and undertakes duties involving the collection, verification, and/or dissemination of human resource-related information on various matters, such as procedures on absences, payroll data, taxes, records, wage rate, hiring procedures, related benefits, payroll processing, and company policies and procedures.
• Assists with the efficient day-to-day operation of the HR / people function, and provide HR information and support as required; ensuring the Company remains legally compliant at all times.
• Prepares work contracts, addendums, and work contract termination.
• Provides input on the development and/or revision of various documents and/or procedures.
• Prepares various letters/documents related to employee benefits and changes, medical certificates, and other employment-related documentation.
• Inform SSC HR (shared services) on all new starters, leavers, or other employment-related changes in a timely manner.
• Familiar with Health & Safety obligations, and work with a third-party adviser if appropriate.
• Participates in specific work projects as determined by the line manager and performs other related duties as assigned.

 

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree;
• At least 5 years of experience in personnel administration;
• Knowledge of Australian Labour Law/ Labour Code;
• Highly organized person and detail-oriented.
• Highly reliable and able to deal with confidential information securely.
• Build collaborative relationships across a dynamic organization
• Exceptional interpersonal communication skills and can influence at all levels
• Put people experience at the forefront of everything you do
• Must be a self-starter and thrive in a rapidly-growing faced paced environment with minimal supervision.
