Tell us about your career at Velocity Partners.

I was looking for a change; I wanted to leave my comfort zone. That's why I decided to continue my career at Velocity Partners in November 2013. I started as a QA on three different projects in the financial sector, advertising, and e-commerce.

While being in Medellín I had people on my team distributed across Rosario in Argentina, and Montevideo in Uruguay; but I've never felt alone. I always had a very good relationship with everyone and they have always been next to me, despite the distance.

My experience as a QA coordinator, the fact that I was able to move between projects and my inquisitive nature have allowed me to apply for the Solution Manager position, which I hold today.

So, looking back, I have been here for over 4 amazing years. I am part of an awesome distributed team working across Colombia, Argentina, Venezuela and Uruguay; a team that's always supporting each other and that's growing as a whole.

What motivates you in your daily work?

My main goal is to have satisfied clients and motivated teams. But what I like most is being able to get close to the people I work with. It's in my genes to make friends here and there and that defines the person I am. Being a Solution Manager has allowed me to get closer to everyone, having serious and fun conversations at the same time. I have understood the power that my actions have on everyone else and how important it is to give a good example and to always be respectful in interacting with people.

What are your expectations for the future?

Mainly, I want to continue my professional career accompanied by the people that surround me, because they make me feel part of their lives. At the same time, I have lots of expectations in regards to becoming part of Endava. I like to embrace new experiences, find out what's next and what I should do in order to prepare for the future. In Endava I wish to find people who care about their working environment and their fellows, like I do.

Tell us more about your life outside of work.

I have many friends. I like sightseeing by going from one place to another. I love to drive, enjoy the landscape, take pictures, or just sit and admire nature.

I am daring, restless and passionate about animals, especially dogs.

I was born and raised in the countryside, so I know what it's like to work the land, cultivate it and live from it. I have a very special relationship with the surrounding environment, trees and flowers, I could even say it’s my second nature.

What advice would you give yourself if you were starting your career in this company tomorrow?

I have more than a piece of advice. Here are my personal mantras, which I try to follow every time: avoid prejudices, be genuinely curious and treat others the way you want to be treated. On every occasion you get.
