Tell us more about what you are doing at Endava.

I am interested in digital trends and the development of digitalisation in Germany. My daily job is to help people from different industries overcome the digital challenges faced by their company. We discuss their targets and find the right people within Endava who can help them. Some of them only realise their real needs during our conversations and together we discover ways of becoming more engaging, responsive and efficient. Endava helps me understand the different facets of digitalisation and improve my knowledge on how to overcome the challenges that come along with it.

What do you think drives your career within Endava?

What I like most about working at Endava is that I am right at the source of digital innovation and this offers me the opportunity of continuous learning.

I aim to work on constantly improving the way of approaching our clients. I feel great satisfaction, whenever I manage to book a meeting with a new client and the client is happy to find out more about Endava. The most important lesson I have learned over time is to relax and see pressure as something positive that contributes to my growth. Every day offers me new lessons I can learn from.

How would your colleagues describe you in one sentence?

They see me as a hard worker who thinks outside the box.

Name a book that had an effect on your career path.

I am highly interested in psychology, especially the psychology of selling. The book that impressed me the most is ‘Emotion Selling’ by Gerhard Bittner and Elke Schwarz. It helped me learn how the use of language can influence others and what to focus on when you want to be convincing.

Tell us more about yourself outside of work.

My passion is to run. I finished numerous half-marathons over the past years and now I am training for my first marathon. Running demands a lot of discipline and persistence to reach your goal.

Activating in Business Development somehow resembles this sport. You ought to never lose sight of the target when you want to be successful. You also have to think strategically and never give up. Sometimes there are moments when your power level wavers, but if you have some patience, it will come back on track when you least expect it.

I also love music. I play the guitar. I also spend a lot of my free time dancing Salsa and Bachata and was even awarded for my dancing skills. My motto in life is: You can achieve anything you want. You just have to start doing it. As a result, you become better and better every day in every aspect.

What advice would you give yourself if you were starting work at Endava today?

Take a deep breath and keep learning – you can never learn too much.
